Februari 2009 our good friend and chairman Dick de Zeeuw passed away. He was on a mission for the World Bank, idealistic and active till the very end. The words of the advertisement of our students give a fine expression of how we feel about it and how we want to remember him.

The members of the International Students Coordinating Group have taken notice on the passing away of Dick de Zeeuw, the chairman of the board of International Dialogues Foundation. He was, in a way, a fatherly figure to our group, due to the attention that he has devoted to each one of us personally. Thanks to his openness and optimism we see in him an inspiration to continue our projects. We hope to carry out our work taking on his principles of strong morale as the basis for our achievements. We will always hold him close in our hearts and memory.
